For designers and architects

What a stretch ceiling quote consists of

The price of a stretch ceiling in August 2026 is from 17,99 €/m² with PVC film and from 24 €/m² with fabric or printing; that price already includes the profile, corners and installation, and the minimum order is 300 €. When preparing a quote for a client, what matters is not the "from" figure but what that figure actually covers. The base is from 17.99 €/m² for PVC film and from 24 €/m² for fabric and print, VAT included. Minimum order is 300 €: for small rooms the quote starts at this sum, even where the area is modest.

Anything that changes the geometry of the ceiling appears as a separate line item: a second level, a recessed light line, a curtain track recess, a shadow gap, recessed luminaires, print. Each has its own profile, its own drawing and its own installation time. Two rooms of the same area can therefore be priced noticeably differently.

Below: a list of line items you can carry into your own quote template; the factors that raise the total; and what to supply to narrow the range. On-site measurement and the quote are free in Vilnius and within 50 km of it, usually within 48 hours; beyond that 49 € including VAT, credited against the final price once an order is placed. We work throughout Lithuania.

What the base rate covers

The base square-metre rate covers the ceiling plane and its installation. It includes the film, the profile, the corners and the fitting.

The base rate does not include luminaires, LED strips, drivers, controllers or the wiring up to the detail. We prepare the detail — thermal rings for recessed luminaires, the profile for a light line — into which the lighting set is fitted.

How the area is calculated

We calculate the ceiling plane area, not the floor area. The two coincide only in a rectangular room with no recesses. The differences come from:

A quote always needs two figures: the ceiling plane area (m²) and the perimeter length (m). With the area alone we cannot give an exact price — only a range.

Quote line items, one by one

The base is from 17.99 €/m² for PVC and from 24 €/m² for fabric and print, VAT included; minimum order 300 €. Rates for details are given in the quote after measurement. The table is here for the line items and their units — so you know what to ask for and what not to overlook.

Keep planes and details on separate lines. When a client asks for something to be cut on cost grounds, the cut is almost always made among the details — and then it is clear exactly what dropping a light line or a second level is worth.

Seven factors that raise the quote

  1. The number of details, not the area

Area raises the price linearly; details raise it in steps. Every light line, every change of level and every recess has its own profile, its own drawing and its own installation time.

  2. Material type

Moving from PVC to fabric or print takes the rate from 17.99 to 24 €/m² — before any details. Fabric is chosen where a wider seamless plane is needed (up to 5.1 m) or where resistance to temperature swings matters.

  3. Perimeter complexity

Every internal or external corner, column, duct and irregular wall adds metres of profile and hours of installation to the same area.

  4. Drop height

From 4 cm where the ceiling holds nothing. Recessed luminaires or a light line need 6–12 cm. This figure governs not only the price but whether the detail fits at all.

  5. The seamless plane limit

Up to 5 m in PVC and up to 5.1 m in fabric without a seam. In a room 5.4 m wide you get either a welded seam or a decision to break the plane into levels. Both change the quote, so the room width is worth checking at drawing stage.

  6. Site readiness on installation day

Stretch ceilings go in last — after the wiring, after the walls. If the wiring is unfinished on installation day or the curtain track recess is not ready, a standard room meant to take 3–4 hours becomes two visits.

  7. Decisions changed after production starts

The plane is made to specific dimensions and the production cycle takes 7–10 days. Once production has begun, a moved luminaire or a shifted line means a new part, not an adjustment. Fixing the lighting plan before production saves money, not just trouble.

What to supply to narrow the range

The more of these you send, the tighter the preliminary figure. The final sum follows on-site measurement.

If the project is still at sketch stage, the room area and a list of details are enough for a preliminary figure. Drawings can be sent as PDF or DWG via WhatsApp or Viber.

Questions that come up once the numbers are being run

Does the 300 € minimum order apply to a single small room as well?

Yes. Where the line items do not reach the threshold, the quote carries a 300 € item. Where a flat has several small areas, it is worth submitting them as one order.

Why are two rooms of the same area priced differently?

Area is only one part of the quote. The other is perimeter length and details: linear metres of light line, the number of levels, recesses, obstructions, the count of recessed luminaires. A single plane and a two-level ceiling with a perimeter line in the same room cost different amounts.

Does the quote hold if the site dimensions differ from the drawing?

A quote from a drawing is preliminary only. The final one follows free on-site measurement — we usually come to measure within 48 hours. That is precisely why measurement is a distinct stage of the process rather than a formality.

What does it cost to change a decision after the quote is approved?

It depends on the stage. Before production starts the decision can still be changed — we simply recalculate the quote. Once production has begun — the cycle takes 7–10 days — the plane is already made to specific dimensions, so a moved light line or a shifted luminaire means a new part.

Are luminaires and LED strips included in the square-metre price?

The base rate covers the plane, the profile, the corners and the installation. We prepare the detail — thermal rings for recessed luminaires, the profile for a light line — into which the lighting set is fitted.

Is fabric always more expensive than PVC?

On the base rate, yes: from 24 €/m² against 17.99 €/m². But in a room wider than 5 m, PVC calls for a welded seam or for the plane to be broken up, while fabric spans up to 5.1 m seamless. There the dearer material removes a detail, and the totals can level out.
